Much has changed since leaving that wintertime paradise of Minnesota for Tennessee on February 17, 2023, and while we can’t change the past, I will spend considerable time contemplating what took me so long to reside near Music City, the heartbeat of country music.

Our community of Ardmore is pleasantly rural and sufficient, with easy access to major city offerings in Huntsville, Alabama. Our new church home is at Asbury in Madison. Being only an hour away from the southern region of Nashville gives me some latitude to attend songwriting sessions and participate in a variety of music industry events, such as the annual Tin Pan South Songwriting Festival, which is as much a music industry reunion as it is an icebreaker for new opportunities.
